Marcin Bącal named a Rising Star by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Wolters Kluwer
CDZ attorney-at-law Marcin Bącal has been distinguished as a rising star and future leader in the 2015 edition of the Rising Star’s nationwide ranking, which shortlists the most talented, creative, innovative young lawyers.
Marcin conducts court, administrative and tax proceedings. He specializes in insolvency, telecommunications and tax law. He graduated from the Faculty of Law and Administration of Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw. Marcin has authored numerous articles related to tax and procedural law and has co-authored three books on the taxation of goods and services. He joined CDZ in 2010.
Weronika Papucewicz named a Rising Star by Dziennik Gazeta Prawna and Wolters Kluwer
Rising Stars: Lawyers and Tomorrow’s Leaders is a competition organized by LexisNexis and Dziennik Gazeta Prawna, to distinguish successful young legal professionals. This year, Weronika Papucewicz, a CDZ lawyer, was nominated as one of 30 rising legal stars of 2014.
Weronika specializes in individual and collective labor relations, anti-discrimination law, personal data protection, and labor law-related litigation. She mainly advises international entrants to the Polish market and companies from the BPO/SSC sectors. She graduated from the Warsaw University’s Faculty of Law and Administration and the American Law School of the Center for American Law Studies. She is a Ph.D. graduate in law sciences from the Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences. She has authored numerous press publications related to individual and collective labor law and has been a speaker at conferences. Weronika is actively involved in pro bono activities: she cooperates with the Helsinki Foundation for Human Rights and the Polish Society of Anti-Discrimination Law. She joined CDZ in 2012.
